Defending his Australian title, O’Meley takes on Gunnedah’s Wade Ryan for the vacant IBO International Super Welterweight title under the dome at East Cessnock Bowling Club on Saturday, December 5 for what will be the first fight back in NSW since the Covid lockdown.

O’Meley’s last fight was on March 7 when he defeated Queenslander Adrian Rodriguez in a unanimous points decision in front of a big crowd at the ECBC to take the Australian title.
It’s been a long break but O’Meley says he is super keen to get his rise up the rankings back on track after Covid-19 and stake a claim to take on current World Super Welterweight champion Tim Tszyu who is set to defend his title against New Zealand fighter Bowyn Morgan at Bankwest Stadium in December.
